Participants must meet all eligibility requirements listed in the official LovHack Season 3 Devpost Eligibility section.
By submitting a project, participants confirm that they meet those requirements.
2. TeamsParticipants may compete individually or in teams of up to 4 members.
A participant may only be part of one team for the same submitted project.
3. Build PeriodThe official LovHack Season 3 build period runs from September 26 through October 4, 2026.
The primary project submitted to LovHack must be built during this period.
4. New ProjectsProjects should be created primarily during LovHack Season 3.
Participants may use:

Development platforms

Previously created general-purpose components
However, teams may not simply resubmit a previously completed project.
If a project builds upon previous work, the team must clearly disclose what existed before LovHack and demonstrate substantial new development completed during the hackathon.
5. AI ToolsAI-assisted development tools are allowed.
This includes AI coding assistants, generative AI models, design tools, no-code tools, and similar technologies.
Teams are still responsible for understanding, presenting, and demonstrating the project they submit.
6. Originality and Intellectual PropertyParticipants must have the right to use all code, designs, images, datasets, music, APIs, and other materials included in their submission.
Do not submit plagiarized, stolen, or unauthorized work.
Participants retain ownership of the projects they create, subject to the terms of any third-party technologies or services they choose to use.
7. Submission DeadlineProjects must be submitted through the official LovHack Season 3 Devpost page before the submission deadline.
Late or incomplete submissions may not be accepted.
Participants are responsible for confirming that their submission was successfully completed.
8. Required Submission MaterialsProjects must follow the Submission Requirements listed on the LovHack Season 3 Devpost page.
Required links, videos, and project information must be accessible to the judges.
9. Sponsor PrizesSome sponsors may offer special prizes.
To qualify for a sponsor-specific prize, a project must meet any additional requirements listed for that prize and make meaningful use of the sponsor's product, platform, API, or technology when required.
A project may be eligible for more than one prize unless otherwise stated.
10. Fair ParticipationParticipants may not:

Plagiarize another project

Falsify project development

Submit misleading information

Manipulate judging

Interfere with another participant or team

Harass participants, organizers, judges, or sponsors
LovHack expects respectful and professional behavior throughout the event.
11. JudgingEligible submissions will be evaluated using the judging criteria published on the LovHack Season 3 Devpost page.
Judges may consider the submitted project, demo video, description, working product, and any other required materials.
Judging decisions are final.
12. DisqualificationLovHack may disqualify a submission that:

Violates these rules

Does not meet submission requirements

Uses plagiarized or unauthorized material

Misrepresents when or how the project was created

Attempts to manipulate the competition

Violates Devpost policies
Rules will be applied consistently across participants.
13. Rule UpdatesIf an important clarification or update is necessary, LovHack will communicate it through official event channels such as Devpost and the LovHack Discord.
Any changes will be made as fairly as possible and should not intentionally disadvantage participants who have already begun building.
14. Third-Party ServicesLovHack is not responsible for outages, restrictions, pricing changes, or other issues involving third-party platforms used by participants.
Participants are responsible for complying with the terms of any external services they use.
15. QuestionsQuestions about rules, eligibility, submissions, or judging should be sent through the official LovHack communication channels.
When necessary, important clarifications will be shared with all participants.
